The repair truck
Fix what's wrong, and say so if it's more
Marisa Conti drives the repair truck. She finds where the water comes in, fixes that spot and shows you the photos. If the roof needs more than a repair, she says so and writes both prices.
Flashing around chimneys, vents and walls
Missing, lifted or cracked shingles
Soft spots in the deck under a leak
A tarp when the weather won't wait

Where leaks start
Most leaks start in a few places
Flashing
The metal at a chimney, wall or vent. It fails long before the shingle does.
Penetrations
Vent pipes and boots crack in the sun and leak at the seal.
Valleys and edges
Where two slopes meet or water runs off the edge. Gutters that back up send it under the shingle.
Old nail holes
Exposed nails lift and let water in. Sealing them is a small job.
